Shani Nizan is an Israeli visual & tattoo artist based in New York City. A few years ago, she found herself in Berlin with the need for a safe space to not be so alone, so she created Drinking & Drawing Berlin. Not only did it thrive, it survived without her when she moved to NYC. And lucky for all of us, she brought that inertia with her.
She is the creator and host of Drinking & Drawing NYC, a ticket-based event, hosted every Monday 8pm at Book Club Bar in the East Village. I often have the joy of hosting this night, full of welcoming energy and laid back artistic fun.
